  1. I find if I can’t find a solution to a problem or need deeper perspective it often comes in the shower somewhat spontaneously when I am not actually thinking about the problem.

  2. Well that’s similar to hypertrophy that, as we all know, accrue not in the action, but during the resting phase. Same with problem solving : it seems to resolve after the active “upload part” when brain use its internal rewireing and plasticity protocols to come up with optimal resolution.
